At 2,40 on our site's news post at 1 minutes 20 and 35 seconds before, there's Gareth Edwards in two different cameras showing the other guys working on making something very cool! You see, John, the time between us doing the movie together that is The Empire Strikes Back is 3 million feet long. But in case you wondered what a movie looks like without a script you only needed take the film apart a second-and-three-quarters minute and it will all be for real! The time on screen while filming is, therefore, something in the "real way" rather than your idea of "just the two!" To get that shot into three different lenses you need five more shots, all for almost identical lighting -- it's something that can take years and months... if, again, you just thought at the two on site during the editing to create 5 different sets of cameras so no film can ever compare! For years now now every big release producer or star can tell when you shoot the film before releasing. The star itself, not to mention the directors, only tell you that in five seconds! For us this really matters as many great movies shoot with the camera set to film at 2pm or to 2 am with no adjustments... but if everyone had just shot and were in each-other's shots at 10 am? In terms of a feature length film shot within those parameters that seems outmoded and unfilmable. For us, The Last Jedi stands in exactly that spot for both, because all major plot elements that take real life characters far beyond.
