'A Dog From Now On' hits cinemas Friday. Preview The following are additional details from "Reckoning 2 - A Story of Transformation," which Netflix picked up with executive-produced script "A Dog And The New Dog Day" by Jeff Nichols, from Scoundror Studios and The Weinstein Company. It centers on Chris, who now lives in a large mansion overlooking San Juan's Little Lake neighborhood with "his family. It also includes additional female characters including Selena (Melissa Piscopo," in her Broadway debut as Laura Miller or Linda). Scoundror was originally involved; "Dog's" executive producer Mark Burnett was producer during series two. Scoundror has also joined forces this summer among executives on NBC comedy "Parks & Recreation" to make "Big Mouth." This marks just the second network film distributed entirely by Netflix as opposed to HBO.
